Find a state-licensed wildlife control company in New York
Animal in your attic, walls, chimney, or yard? Here are the companies the state lists as licensed to remove it, by county, with a phone number and license number so you can check before you hire.

When an animal is in your home you need help fast, and you may not know who to call. In New York, a company that charges to trap or remove nuisance wildlife must hold a state license from the DEC. The official list of licensed operators exists, but it is a raw state spreadsheet that most people will never find or read. So you end up choosing from ads and search results without an easy way to see who is actually on the state list.
This directory puts that list in a form you can use: pick your county or search by name, tap to call, then ask for the license number and compare it with the one shown here.
How to use it
- Find companies near you. Pick your county below or search by city or company name.
- Call. Phone numbers are tap-to-call.
- Check the license. Ask for their DEC license number and compare it with the number listed. How to check a license.
149 licensed companies from the NYS DEC list dated May 22, 2026. Only operators with a business name and phone number are listed, not individual licensees. Licenses in that list expire September 30, 2026, so confirm a license is current before hiring. A listing is not an endorsement. Also see the companies with websites.
